FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT WEDDINGS...
Who owns the copyright for the images?
It is standard practice that the photographer will hold the copyright. But with the packages I offer I will provide a licence for you to reprint the images for your own personal use.
How much is it to secure a date for our wedding?
There is a booking fee of £150 to secure your date.
What does photo retouching include?
I am committed to delivering the best images possible to clients. I make sure colours are consistent and skin tones look natural as they can. I am not into retouching people’s faces, because who am I to decide that a person’s face needs retouching in the first place. But if you really want me to help you lose a love handle I can accommodate.
Who selects the images for the album?
I will put together the album myself selecting images that I feel work well and tell the story of the day. I always present a copy of the draft version before sending for print. Most of the time couples really like the design and how it tells the story of the day, and on the rare occasion that alterations are requested, the final say on content remains with the client. How long will it take for us to receive the albums?
During the wedding consultations we will discuss your preferred style and structure, allowing me to begin designing your album shortly after your wedding. A typical album delivery is 4 weeks after the final proof has been agreed.
How many hours do I cover?
It can be difficult to establish this in the early months of getting things booked, so I try to keep it simple and stress free. Basically I want to photograph your wedding and tell the story of the day. If Bridal preparations start at 7am and the first dance is at 9pm then so be it. I don’t want you to be worrying about getting charged for additional time on your wedding because things have overrun, and I don’t want to leave half way between the speeches because the time is up.
Do you take formal group shots?
Yes I do, I try to keep them simple and get them done quick, as it can be hard to get people away from the Bar after the ceremony.
